Inexpensive Artwork

Have you ever considered going to local art fairs in search of something wonderful for your walls? Just because people are “hobby” artists or don’t exhibit in fancy galleries doesn’t mean their work is not worth having.

YOU are the judge of what you love and you don’t need to have something vetted by a gallery in order to know that it’s just right for you and your space.

In New York this weekend, I had the privilege of meeting artist Fred Belli, of Brooklyn, and purchasing several of his pieces. This framed oil painting of 28th Street in Manhattan set me back $80. That’s only about $25 more than a random print plus frame would have cost! Just imagine.
